What Our Clients are Saying...

Excellent Customer Service, Quality Workmanship and Strong Attention to Detail

I followed Billy and Tile Concepts for close to two years admiring all the beautiful work he and his team created with every pool renovation before we decided we could wait no longer and needed them to renovate our pool you see pictured . I highly recommend anyone considering a pool renovation to contact Billy at Tile Concepts and let him walk you through the whole process and help design your renovation.

Tile Concepts has exceeded every expectation we ever had about having our pool renovated. What we once jokingly called the ugliest pool in Collin County is now a shimmering pool of beauty. We cannot thank or praise Billy and his team enough for everything they did to make our pool beautiful again. If you are planning on having your pool refurbished I doubt you will find a better value than Tile Concepts. You will not find better people to work with.

I cannot say enough good things about Tile Concepts! They exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I did a re-plaster and complete remodel of my pool. This was not the cheapest company but was price competitive - not the most expensive either. The owner has decades of experience and his crews are the best. I was amazed at their proficiency as I watched various phases of the project.

The best reason to use this company is the owner. He is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and personally make sure every detail is being done to his standards. He was always present - I kept seeing him over and over again - It was incredible. He is easy to communicate with - text, phone, or in person. He stays on top of every detail. The day my pool was filling was Christmas day. He came by to check on it and add chemicals. Who would demonstrate this type of commitment? I absolutely love my new pool. He gave great ideas and suggestions to help us arrive at the finished product. The crews cleaned up after the job was done.

When I put in this pool 10 years ago, I went with the lowest cost and boy did I regret it. If you want to really love your pool you won't be disappointed with this company. I honestly don't have anything I wish they'd done better or different. Worth every penny!

Could not be more pleased with our updated pool! The owner and crew of Tile Concepts are pros in every sense of the word. We had a general idea of what we wanted, and Billy helped cement the idea into the perfect plan.

Before you make a decision on your pool rework, do a consultation with Billy. He is knowledgeable, professional, personable, and honest (no upsell). And his crew reflects the same integrity and attention to detail. Highly recommend this team. We will be using them again next year for stage 2 of the pool re-imagining!

There are so many plaster finish options available that the task of choosing one can be daunting. Unlike other masonry or hardscape surface products, pool plaster is constantly subjected to varying water chemistry conditions, especially if the pool is not properly maintained. The constant exposure creates an environment where mineral content of the surface and water will cause the plaster surface appearance to change over time. pool plaster delamination
September 17, 2024
Most pool owners know that pools require servicing, cleaning, and maintenance. But even the best maintenance program cannot prevent delamination. Delamination shows up in the form of blisters or bubbles that can appear on the surface of the swimming pool. These bubbles are actually calcium nodules or small calcium carbonate buildups. Delamination, excessive craze cracking, or other similar defects allow water to get either behind or into the interior of the plaster mass. It can occur in small areas or it can form in wide expanses. While they are usually white, they can become grey over time. Delamination also occurs in the form of pop-offs when the volcano-like blisters and bubbles on the pool surface increase in size. Everyday pool use can cause these prominent blisters to break off from the plaster surrounding it. You may not notice delamination happening until pop-offs occur. The damage becomes much more visible once a pop-off forms
